windows integrated authentication

| I have an IIS site configured to use Windows Integrated Authentication. It
works fine for some users but not for other users. Not sure how to
troubleshoot. Has anyone seen this before.

| What is the difference between the users' software? What error message if
any are they getting?
If the affected users are all running a different OS such as XP, there is a
setting in IE that may need to be changed under tools, internet options,
advanced.
If some of the users are using a domain name or IP address for the server
that their PCs don't recognize as being local, that could be a problem.
Windows integrated authentication primarily only works with IE running on
Windows, other browsers and OSes may not support it.

| PS looking in the web server log for the user ID and error message might be
helpful. Running a sniffer such as www.ethereal.com on a working PC and
non-working PC can also be helpful.
