Greetings!
I have a Windows 2000 Server running Proxy Server 2.0 with updated patches.
This Server is a Proxy Server and a Web Server as well.
It is setup so everyone in the Web can see the Website this server is
hosting, and it is setup so that certain users inside the company have access
to the Internet using the Proxy Server.
The users that have Internet access, show up listed in the Current Sessions
section when you go into the Properties page for Web Proxy using MMC to
access the IIS.
The problem I am having is that I see the list of users and their IPs which
mean they are using the Proxy Sever, BUT I also see a list of users named
Anonymous with IPs that are from the Internet and not the Local LAN.
I know there is away to stop outside Internet users from accessing my
internal Proxy, I just can't remember how.
Does anyone know how to block outside anonymous users from accessing my Web
Proxy Server without disrupting the normal operation of the server?
Thanks!
