Hello:
I am trying to setup a weddav server on a stand alone iis6 server running
windows 2003. the data I would like to attach is currently on a windows 2003
server in the domain.
I am trying to setup a weddav server on a windows 2003 server.
on my Old FTP server I was told by Microsoft that best practice was to have
IIS5 on a server in a workgroup and NOT on a domain.
Following the installation from the webdav server it looks like that has
changed with windows 2003 and IIS6.
My questions are
Should this weddav server be a member server on the domain?
Is this Microsoft best practice?
Am I leaving my network open for attack if I do this?
Is the password transferred in clear text? I am trying to setup a weddav
