Hi,

I have a Windows domain foo.com (DC=foo,DC=com in Active Directory)
I have a Windows 2003 in this domain and a IIS on it
I would like to protect a directory with IWA (Integrated Windows
Authentication).

I would also like to access this IIS with a domain name diffent. For
instance, the address of the IIS is http://myserver.bar.com

The problem is that if I connect to http://myserver.bar.com, it pops up
and ask for an IWA authentication even if I'm in the domain

I have an error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Logon Failed Due to Server
Configuration with No Authentication If I press cancel

Is there a mean to avoid that and to access the protected folder
without any need to authentify?
It might be on Internet Explorer, on IIS or a configuration of the
domain

Thanks in advance

Yannick

I just found a post
(http://groups.google.com/group/micr...854294a32a37d89)
which seems to have the same problem

adding the site to the intranet site made the trick

See ya

Yannick
