I have Windows XP professional, no service pack, FAT32.
I have installed IIS. it is showing in Control Panel-
Admin.Tools-IIServices.
Inetpub, wwwroot folders have been created. But any .asp file doesn't
work.
Now i went in Control P.-admin.tools-iis-website-default w.site-right
click on All Tasks- check server Xtensions. this is what i get:

Web http://f-up9xjofsdfivx/
Begin check 3/10/2006 12:29:19 PM
PROBLEM: Your web is insecure because the server extensions DLLs are
installed on a FAT drive. We recommend that you convert the drive that
the extensions are installed on to NTFS.
NOT CORRECTED
End check 3/10/2006 12:29:20 PM

Does this mean that i 'have' to convert to NTFS. is there no other way?
Please,I don't want to lose any data/file on my computer. My hard disk
is with 2 partitions- C , D.
IIS is on C which is 9.31 GB.
Please remember while answering that I am not a software/hardware
expert.
But pls. do reply soon.

Dear Dkedia,

Microsoft does not support the use of FAT file systems or FAT32 file systems
with Internet Information Services. For more info see this :
