Author IIS WebDAV Long Filename Support?

I am trying to use the Novell NetDrive freeware to connect to an IIS
6.0 WebDAV directory. I tried to copy a file to the server, and got an
"error" saying that the server did not support long file names. Is
there a security setting on the Windows 2003 server that could make
this happen?

Thanks.

Strange... because I know that IIS6 does not support short names, and people
use WebDAV client within Windows and IE to copy long filenames to IIS6 all
the time by default, so I think your issue is probably coming from the
NetDrive client.

You should obtain support for Novell NetDrive to look at the issue - because
many other WebDAV clients work. I suspect NetDrive has some problem and is
misinterpreting it as "server does not support long filenames".
