We have replicated Novell users from E-directory to MS Active Directory so
that when the users login using NovelID on novel netware will get
authenticated on IIS where only windows authentication is turned on. But
doesn't seem to be work. Do i need to do anything to make it work? Or is
there any other way to use NovelId to authenticate against Active Directory.
We have Active Directory on a different machine than webserver. Do we require
to have Active Directory and webserver on same machine. Any help would be
highly appreciated.

Make sure the web server knows how to contact the MS Active Directory where
your NovelID is being replicated. They do not need to be on the same
machine.

No other configuration on the web server is required because after all, IIS
has no idea whether the user ID came from Active Directory or Novell.
