|

| I put my Default.htm in the wwwroot folder....
when using IE to browse Localhost (127.0.0.1) It works fine....
but when I connect to Internet and browse my IP address to
access my default.htm page.... it doesn't work...
What is the possible missing steps? how to configure the router for my IIS to
work?
Thanks for replying...

| For port forwarding, it all depends on your router/modem type - so please
refer to the product doc/vendor site/or even google the net.
If you do have other machine on the same LAN, test browse it first to make
sure it is working on LAN. Other stuff you might want to check are whether
you have firewall blocking http traffic or your isp is restricting port 80
request.

| Thanks for replying.... I'm using standalone web server, when I connect to
Internet
and browse my IP in IE, it shows me the Router(modem) access page...
what generally is to set for port forward?
