| I have a very difficult for me problem.I am a single user of my house
computer which runs under Windows XP professional.I have installed IIS,but
when I enter Internet Explorer,write localhost I receive error HTTP 401.1
unauthorized ccess .
How can I solve it?

| 401.1 = Logon Failed.
Can you look in the Windows Event Log (located in your Administrative Tools
folder) to see if there are any relevant events?

| Unfortunately in computer laboratory the workers revealed very serious
hardware problems,but yet they do't know the source of the problem.After I
exchange the suitable details of the hardware and install windowsXP
Professional,I will install Visual Studio.NET 2003 and by myself I will not
can to install msdn samples of the visual studio.net 2003 so that internet
programming applications will work.
So please help me.
