| Hi,
Is it advisable to rename the IUSR_ComputerName and IWAM_ComputerName. As i
want to do it and change the passwords of this account as the per the
organization policy. As i am aware that IUSR_ComputerName is used accross all
the website and ftp sites. is there any other area that this change would
affect.
Thanks.

| If this is a must, then just do it.
Renaming the account should not affect anything as it still maintain the
same SID.
just make sure, you redefine the account name in IIS MMC. go into directory
security,
for the anonymous account, select the new account name and enter the correct
password.
