config a IAS server with wired 802.1x and switch
|

| Hi,
When I install/config a IAS sever on a 2003 server, do i have to have
a DNS controller installed on this server?
What I like to do is control a switch with 802.1x
Does anyone give a guideline for it?(how to config a IAS (radius) and
a xp client and a switch)
Thanks in advance,
sy

No, you don't need DNS installed on the IAS server.
Please see the whitepaper "Enterprise Deployment of Secure Wired Networks
Using Microsoft® Windows®" at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...=05951071-6b20-
4cef-9939-47c397ffd3dd&DisplayLang=en.
That paper and the WS03 Help contain all of the information you need for
this deployment.
