Currently we have an existing mixed mode AD (w2k + NT). We are looking
into wireless access solution using PEAP.

But we face a problem when trying to manage user access using group,
since IAS in mixed mode domain doesn't support this. Upgrading
existing AD to native mode is not an option.

What other option do we have other than going for 3rd party solution?

Thanks in advance.

Actually, WS2k3 IAS server does support group membership in a mixed mode
domain
You need to setup your mixed mode IAS server to do policy matching based on
group membership. By creating a new 'security' group (not distribution
group) and adding all your users to this group
If you face any problems doing this, please let us know
