HI I am trying to implement IEEE802.1x security with PEAP MSCHAv2.

I have server running Win 2003(Enterprise Edition), Win XP(SP2), 3Com AP(11g).

On Win 2003 i have configured DNS, DHCP, AD and CA and IAS (RADIUS).

On Win 2003 I have added XP machine and User account and added then in to the Wireless Group. On IAS remote Access Policy I have added that group.

Now when I try to connect my XP client, It can not connect to the network. Access Point saying that Attempting to Authenticate and that's where it get stuck. After some times it says unable to connect to wireless network.

There is no error log in event viewer on Win 2003 Server that says me why I can't ne able to connect to the network. There no error log on client as well

Does anyone know what the problem is????

I'm having the same issue. Sometimes I can authenticate but after about 20
seconds it goes back to authenticating. Have you found a fix yet?

Hi. You can enable trace of RAS to get more information about the error.

At the command prompt, type : netsh set tracing ras * enabled

The command above can be typed for both server and client. The logs are
generated at %windir%/tracing

Don“t you forget to disable the tracing, changing enabled for disabled.

Best regards.
