Hi, I'm wondering if anyone know if I remove the Certificate Server from
a domain? What's the consequence? I also wondering if there is a way
to rename(and change it's IP Address) the Certificate Server.

Thanks

You can easily remove it. The only thing left is all the certificates it
has made for all the clients that connected to it. It a bit of a mess.
Other than that it is straight forward. Hmm.. changing the IP? Is that
locked when theres a CA installed? Should be a problem. It should only
be bound to the name of the server.

Would it be possible to just revoke the certificate on the client
machine or user account? How do I tell the client to revoke it and not
to use it?

Thanks

In the Certificates MMC you can just click on it and delete it. I don't
know if theres som smart way to do it through policy or alike.

Thanks again, will it mess up with the user/machine account that was
authenticated by means of Certificates? Do I have to delete the account
and recreate them? Or there is a way to revert back to using
username/password?

Thanks.
