I have a 2000 server with service pack 4 and all the updates. The IIS works fine until you turn on the SMTP server then it maxes out the cpu to 100%. I have renamed the folders, deleted and rebuilt the folders, and installed service pack 4 two times. I hav
e tried what was mentioned in the other posts but nothing seems to work. It all seems to happen when you give permission to the pickup folder and try to send mail. The instructions say you have to give IUSR permission and I_wam permissions in order to sen
d mail. I am totally lost as what to do next any help would be much appreciated...

Thanks

Mike
