| Hi,
I'm running iis6 on win2003 server. We have been using its mail server
for 6 months without an error except the spam attacks on our server.
To secure the server against spam I've changed some auth. settings and
after that for some reason I've rebooted the machine. After the
reboot, virtual smtp server got lost in iis control panel. Soon I made
it appear again by "regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\smtpsnap.dll"
command, but now I can not send email to external adresses. Mail sent
to outside stucks in Queue folder. I discovered an warning message in
event viewer telling that " As a result of misconfiguration of the
remote adress as a mail loop mail can not be delivered" (this is
translation orginal message may differ.) When I send a mail outside a
reply from postmaster comes with an error no. of 550 5.3.5
I haven't made any change in dns configuration and I think that I have
configured the mail system as it was before but something is wrong...
Any ideas? thank you for your helps.
