Author SMTP Queue List Is Flooded By Outgoing Mails

2004-01-24, 2:05 am

My SMTP Queus List is being flooded by junk mails. 99% of
the mails are self generated with annonymous addresses and
recipient names.

Messages stay in the queue for a long time and I can't
check whether they are sent out.

Internet access is not interrupted by MSN MEssanger For
Exchange Server is.

I have Exchange 2000 SP 4 on Win2K Sever SP4 and ISA 2000
SP 1 with the latest updates and pathces.

Need help immediately as the my email services has been
down for a few days.

Thanks and Regards,
Lau

Sounds like you're getting emails with BCC addresses that are getting
sent out. Have you disabled relaying (or only relay for your known
systems)?

Do you have a good AntiSPAM Software?
Maybe my freeware NoSPAMProxy might help you.
