When trying to send external e-mail to a paticular source
i get the following returned mail

When i telnet to the mail server remotley i get the
correct banner when i try from our mail server i get the
following banner

220rblsmtpd.local

can you help

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended
recipients.

Subject: test mail Avebury out going
Sent: 07/01/2004 12:06

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

scottc@krest.co.uk on 07/01/2004 12:06
There was a SMTP communication problem with
the recipient's email server. Please contact your system
administrator.
<our mail server name #5.5.0 smtp;553 relay
tested -- 1009026061>

Stuart,

It sounds like your server is blacklisted. You will want to verify it is
not open for relay and then contact the blacklisting services to get the
