Hi

I have two mail servers receiving mail for two different email address,
server1(domainA.com) and the other server2(domainB.uk) both running exchange
2000 SP3 on Windows 2000 Adv Server SP4.

Server1(domainA.com) can send and receive mail from the internet but it
can't send or receive from (domainB.uk) - do not have permission to relay to
(address recipient)
Server2(domainB.uk) can send and receive mail from the internet but it can't
send or receive from (domainA.com) - do not have permission to relay to
(address recipient)

Any thoughts please

Thanks

On each of the server's in question I'd do the following to start to see if
it resolves. On Server1 create an smtp connector with an smtp address space
of domainB.uk. On the general tab select to forward all mail to smarthost
and put the IP address of Server2 in square brackets (i.e. [10.10.10.1]). If
the IP address you enter is receiving mail for domainB.uk it should not
return this error. You can do the reverse on server2.
