| To All,
I have a Win2000 server running SMTP service as a gateway for our mail system. This server will receive all incoming mail and forward them to our Exchange 2000 server. It also act as SMTP outgoing server for users on the road. Users will use this serve
r as their outgoing mail server. This server only relay only if the users are authenticated via active directory. On the LDAP routing, I specified one of our DC server as the LDAP server and use Active Directory as the schema.
Systematically, everyday, this server loses its connection to the Active Directory and can not authenticate users. In the Event Viewer, it will log "SMTP was unable to connect to LDAP server...". When this happens, none of the users in the field can sen
d email out. I have to reboot the server for it to recognize the Active directory again. This happen everyday.
Please help if you know the solution. I greatly appreciate your help.
Danny
