Author Setting up SMTP to forward my mail to my real SMTP Server

I have IIS installed on a machine that wish to my public email server,
say mail.foobar.com. When someone, anyone emails me at
user1@foobar.com, I wish for my public email server (mail.foobar.com)
to get it once it gets it, I want it to forward the mail to
mail2.foobar.com. I am using IIS SMTP service, setup up a virtual
domain to do this but I am getting weird behavior. First I can only
send mail to user1@foobar.com not one else say buddy@yahoo.com and
with the 1 domain it does work with, I see that 2 (two) emails are
sent. Are there any tutorials or web sites that I can learn one how to
use MS STMP service to forward email to another SMTP service?

thanks
Ralph
