Author Debugging IIS 5.0 SMTP - What is happening eith my mails?

I have Postie and Blat command line applications sending mails using a
internal IIS 5 SMTP
the SMTP is configured with anon authentication, permitting relay from
internal net (some like 10.0.0.0/24) and permitting to acess smtp from
internal net (10.0.0.0/24)

the emails are "stucking" in the mailroot\queue folder
Sometimes the email vanishes and sometimes takes hours to be deliverd to the
final destination SMTP

There is a trace mechanism? There is a debug option? I can "force" the
connection to send the stucked mail?

Look at the SMTP logs and check your DNS. Mail sitting in the queue
is often due to a DNS error.

Really, i'm behind a Linux and ADSL router and sometimes ADSL connections
drops, but i would like to know what exactly is happening and i hope that
there is a trace/debug option to log every request of smtp

Did you look at the SMTP logs?

Yes, some strange things appear, sometimes:

The mailscripting works in the past 6 months without problems
maybe, the ISP have changed something in the SPAN mechanism, recently
