Author SPA authentication problem on News Server

Hi There.

I have set up, and configured a MS News server. I am using Windows ACL and
SPA. Because my network provider will not open pot 119, I am using port 443
for news server. It works fine while on the local network, but if I put the
server on the Internet, and try to access it, It will not recognise the
username and password the firs time. I have to enter the password 2-3 times,
before I am allowed to access the server.
Is it because I am using port 443 ? Is there some NNTP-server configuration
option, for "timeout" ?

This does not happen, if I disable SPA

Your competent help would be most welcome.

regs,

Mads Voigt
