Author emails with apostrophe

my E2K does not accept emails with apostrophe in username (e.g.
joe.o'tool@domain.com). any suggestions? i can send/receive using my
yahoo account. what could be the difference?

Yahoo accepts the apostrophe, Exchange doesn't. It's an illegal
character in many mail systems.
