cannot send email to local domain

| Users on my network cannot send email with my SMTP server to mailboxes of my own domain, it bounces. However it just goes fine when emails are sent to the 'outside'. What could it be?

| I can think of a few possibilities.
1.) Under Global Settings?internet message formats, in the ESM, ensure that
you don't have your domain defined. Normally it will just be an asterisk for
the default domain.
2.) Ensure that you don't have any SMTP connectors with an address space of
your domain on the address space tab.
3.) Check your recipient policies to ensure that you have a recipient policy
with you being authoritative for your domain.
If these don't help, what does the non-delivery report say?

| I'm having the opposite problem. I can send messages to my domain but cannot send emails to the rest of the world.
The NDR says the following:
------------------------------------------------
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: TEST
Sent: 4/27/2004 10:39 AM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
someaddress@hotmail.com on 4/27/2004 10:39 AM
The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator.
<myserver.mynetwork.com #5.0.0>
-------------------------------------------------------------
However, any messages that are sent to any mynework.com email address is delivered.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Darth
