External host using Outlook express newsreader recieves a popup error with a code of "800ccc0f" when attempting to connet to a news server on a different subnet - same error results whether forced to enter login/password or not. What does "800ccc0f" mean
?

The NNTP server is under my control, running win2k, and has a working setup of NNTP -- all systems on the same LAN using both miscroft outlook express and netscape messager can access, read, post messages to this NNTP server.
