Exchange Services intermittingly stopping

I have a Exchange 2000 SP4 server running on Windows 2000
SP4. The problem I am having is that intermittingly
several of the Exchange services stop. The services are:
SMTP, NNTP, WWW publishing, Exchange Routing Engine,POP3,
and IMAP4. Any help or ideas would be apprecieated.
