Trying to go to msn game zone...page comes up with four
different things that I wanted to do. I click to play a
game on game zone. It comes up there was an error with my
authenication. Also a security alert page comes up and
says the certificate is no longer valid or expired. I
click to view cert. and it states it is good until 2005.
What do I need to do about this authenication error.
Could my kids accidently clicked something they weren't
suppose to? Thanks, L.Watson

Totally wrong group for this question, so you probably won't get much
of a reply. Try an IE related group if this is not the answer you
want:

1. You need to find out *why* the certificat is not valid! IE will
tell you what the problem is (expiration, issueing CA, and so forth)

2. You can with some certificate problems accept the certificate
anyway. Expired certificates, certificates from a non-trusted CA, etc.
can be used *if* you trust the site!

Doubt the kids did anything, but if they are under 16 DO NOT LET THEM
USE THE COMPUTER ON THE INTERNET WITHOUT A RESPONSIBLE ADULT PRESENT!

My program (free to parents and kids) 'Safe Kids on the Internet'
tells parents exactly what can (and usually does) happen when kids
have unrestricted access to the Internet. Email me privately and I'll
tell you some stories that will convince you that you don't want to
use the Internet as a baby sitter (unless you want some sex crazed
middle aged preditor sitting your kids?)
