Author SMTP Perfmon objects missing

An admin at one of our sites sees no SMTP objects in performance monitor.
He's running Win2K Advance Server and Exchange 2000 both with Service Packs
up to date. He doesn't see perfmon counters for \\servername\SMTP Server.

Anyone have any experience with this problem?

Thanks,
Paul

Hello,

You might want to try reloading the counters by running the commands (from
command prompt first navigate to %Windir%\System32)
"unlodctr SMTPSVC "
"lodctr Smtpctrs.ini"
Close and Open Performance monitor and check if you find the SMTP
performance objects.
If this doesn't help, see if the following applies:

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
