Hi there,

my smtp server (IIS running on win2003) advertizes to large a size for
my virus software. How can I edit the IIS metabase to stop smtp from
advertizing it?

What do you mean by "advertizes to large a size for my virus software"??

Your AV Software might insert something in the email, but this has nothing
to do with the SMTP Service.

Are you talking about the SMTP Banner?

If so, try this:

I mean that our smtp service advertizes a "size=20971520" to the ehlo
command...

You can adjust this size in the properties of the SMTP-Server -> Messages ->
"Limit Message Size To" (German Version: Nachrichten -> Nachrichtengroesse
einschränken auf).
