An IIS SMTP server with IP 1.2.3.4
How to configure IIS to receive mail sent to username@[1.2.3.4] ?
Now my server will appear "550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for
postmaster@[1.2.3.4]"
because [1.2.3.4] is no a local or remote domain.
In Exchange Server I can add a custom domain,
but I don't find the same setting in IIS SMTP.

Thanks for answering.

First, you need to tell us what version of operating system to get
specific directions. In general, add a relay for the server for the
IP address.

Thank you, Jeff.
I'm using IIS 6.

After adding a remote domain: 1.2.3.4,
when tring to send a mail to postmaster@[1.2.3.4] I got 550 5.7.1 Unable to
relay for postmaster@[1.2.3.4]

In Exchange Server, the domain should be named [1.2.3.4].
In IIS, domain name contains [ or ] is an invalid domain.....
