IIS and SMTP - IIS fails inbound

Currently we have IIS Virtual SMTP service running on a box and I am having
a hard time sending out email within my domain, do I have to tie my SMTP
Virtual Service to my Exchange 5.5? Thanks

The answer to your question is no. But that doesn't help you solve
your problem. Since we don't know what "having a hard time sending
out email within my domain" means, we can't give you any useful
answers.
