How to stop virtual smtp mail going into hotmail junk folder?

I have setup a new virtual SMTP server on one of our servers as we were
previously having problems with an unreliable one from our ISP.

I have set it up but i am having a bit of a problem as the emails to hotmail
accounts are going straight to the junk mail folder in hotmail. They work
fine in yahoo and gmail.

Anyone got any tips?

Ive set the masquerade domain and fully qualified domain as mydomain.co.uk.
It is strange because it was working fine yesterday and i've changed the
domain name records from mytestdomain.com to externalsmtp.mydomain.co.uk to
the server today and now the mail goes straight into the junk mail folder.
Is it maybe as the dns records have not properly proporgated yet?
