Author IIS e-mail question

Our internet provider is hosting a website for us. We created a website using
Frontpage. (They say they have Frontpage extensions installed correctly) We
created a web page with a form that will send an e-mail to our company's
e-mail server. When we initially set it up and tested it, it worked fine and
the e-mail arrived within seconds. The last few days we tested it and the
e-mail did not arrive.

We called our ISP and left a message. Mysteriously, hours later all of our
test e-mails arrived. It seems they did "something."

Can anyone shed some light on how this process works when you send an e-mail
through a form? Does our ISP have something not configured properly?

They aren't very responsive and I'd like to get a better idea how this
works. Thanks
Jeff
