Author sending via smtp problem

I am a developer that uses EarthLink as an ISP. I have to write some
sendMail functions but my ISP does not allow me to send smtp mail (probably
most don't).

Is there a way to test this out in my environment?
Thanks,
G

Try using smtpauth.earthlink.net as your SMTP server; it requires
authentication, IIRC.
