| Messages Can Be Received But Not Sent 2005-02-03, 5:52 pm |
| I have Exchange server 2000 using Outlook as a mail service recently I
changed the network adapter and experienced an unusual problem I can access
the web and receive mail but when I atempt to send mail get the following
promt (The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by your mail server.
If this problem persists, contact your LAN Administrator or Internet
Provider.) we access the internet with DSL through our LAN.
The set up worked fine prior to the change. I greatly appreciate your help.

| You recently changed the NIC in the server or the desktop? If it's the
desktop, do you use DHCP or static IP addressing? Are there other
desktops/Outlook clients on your network and are they too having the
same problem?

| I changed the NIC in the server and yes all other (4) computers are having
the same problem and error message. Each desktop use a static IP address and
we connect to a router with PPPOE DSL service.
