| I am trying to help a friend with this problem. They have recently upgraded
from W2K running Exchange to 2003 server running Exchange. They can
send/receive email from Outlook clients just fine. Another server on the
network running IIS generates emails to internal email addresses using a from
their web site. Ever since the upgrade these emails just sit in the Queue
folder on the web server (which is running smtp). The event log lists
warnings that smtp could not send the message to their own domain due to a
dns issue. I can ping the new exchange server by fqdn. It's like the web
server is trying to contact the old Exchange server instead of the new one
but the emails are addressed the same as always. Any ideas ?
