I have a w2k3 SP1 with IIS installed and SMTP enabled. When I go to the
command prompt from locally on this server to telnet into its IP and port 25,
I get "connecting xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxx.... Could not open connection to the host,
on port 25: connect failed. I logged onto this server as an administrator
and have full rights. In IIS's default SMTP, I tried it with both "all
unassigned" IP and given it the static IP of the server. Both failed to
connect to the server on port 25. Is there something wrong with IIS. I have
done it on other servers without problems.

If you cannot telnet to port 25, it means eithr port 25 isn't
listening or port 25 is blocked. Obvious possibilites are firewalls,
security software, etc.
