| Hi,
I work for a startup and we are currently using some space from a big company. They have set us up on a VLAN on their network, which means that our machines and servers appear to be on their domain to the outside World, yet we have no access to their servers (including SMTP).
I have setup a virtual SMTP server in IIS, and am using an external POP3 server provided by an ISP. This works fine for all our messages except mail to our hosts. In order for SMTP to work I have to set the domain to be theirs, but this causes IIS to send mail messages to drop thinking they are local. These messages are then never picked up because our hosts use a separate mail setup.
Is there a way I can force these to be sent via the internet instead of pushed into the drop folder?
Thanks!
