I have recently purchased a remote host server running 2000 Server with
IIS5. The problem I am having is getting IIS 5 to broadcast the existance of
a newsgroup I created. I tried looking for the server using Outlook Express
and it is not listed. I have tried every troubleshooting trick I know and
now IIS reports that the status of the service is unknown. I even tried
restarting IIS to no avail. Am I doing or setting something wrong? By the
way, Active Directory is not installed.
