I am using Windows 2000 Adv Server SP4, IIS 5 and Exchange 2000 SP3. I have
two servers set up to take care of the mail. One is an SMTP\SPAM server that
checks messages for SPAM and then forwards them on to the Exchange server.
When users send mail it flows the opposite way.

I recently found out I am providing relaying on the Internet. I followed
the "Article ID: 310356 HOW TO: Prevent mail relay in the IIS 5.0 SMTP server
in Windows 2000" When I disabled anonymous access though, the relay was
stopped but no mail was able to flow. When I allowed anonymous access mail
flowed but the relay was re-enabled.

Is there a way to disable anonymous access while still allowing external
mail to flow?

Thanks.
