Author SMTP can't send to multiple recipients

I have a weird issue.

I set up an SMTP on a W2K server (details hereafter) for a domain that we
shall name mybusiness.com.

Everything is fine except that any user of the domain (e.g.
smith@mybusiness.com) can't send mails to multiple recipients (10 for
example). The mail is stuck in the Queue folder.

When a mail is stuck, the event viewer mentions :
Event Type: Warning

Event Source: smtpsvc

Event Category: None

Event ID: 4000

Date: 1/23/2006

Time: 7:53:17 PM

User: N/A

Computer: MYSERVER

Description:

Message delivery to the remote domain 'mybusiness.com' failed for the
following reason: The connection was dropped by the remote host.

Data:

0000: d3 02 04 c0 Ó..À

My configuration is as follows:

Default SMTP Server

everything by default except :

Access Tab : no Relay restrictions
Delevery Tab, Advanced button: masquerade domain: mail.mybusiness.com

Remote Virtual Server set up with everything by default except:

"Allow incoming mail to be relayed to this domain" is checked

"Forward all mail to smart host" with: mail.mybusiness.com

(mail.mybusiness.com is set up at my registrar (it is my MX).)

I set up the same configuration on aW2K3 server with IIS 6.0 at the same
office. It doesn't work either.

I have a reverse zone configured in my DNS.

Help greatly appreciated!

Nicolas
