Yes, or create a deployment script -- just as you would with 10
non-load-balanced servers.

Sensitivity to ASP-level failure (as opposed to port-level) failure.

If money weren't a problem, I would get a pair of f5s.
But money is almost always a problem, and the decision between a
single f5 and NLB is going to be case-specific. You'd have to give
more information as to your current and projected load and how much of
the drive for the load-balancing is to eliminate SPOF, and how much is
to accelerate performance by scaling out.
