IIS SMTP server sends out old e-mail around 2 years ago today.

I have an user who receive a lot of SMTP mails which she sent it out almost
two years ago today. This is the second time this problem happens. It seems
that the IIS SMTP server (Win2k server) sends out old mails after 2 years
without reason. Which folder/sub-directories should I housekeep periodically
to prevent this problem from happening again?
