I got this message trying to send a 2.25MB file to two co-workers:

(reason: 552 Requested mail action aborted: exceeded storage allocation)

The server is Windows 2000 SP4. I don't see anywhere in my IIS manager for
SMTP to set a limit on "storage allocation". One co-worker had nothing in
his POP3 box; the other did have some stuff in his. But again, I see nowhere
to set a limit on storage allocation. The server has 25GB free on a 36GB
drive. Any ideas what to check for? TIA!

Since it's Windows 2000, you're not using Windows POP server. Check
whatever POP server you do use for restrictions.

My POP server has no restrictions. But isn't that a message from the SMTP
engine?
