SMTP on W2k3 SP1 server

| I setup SMTP on a W2k3 SP1 server but seems to be missing out something, as I
could not sucessfully test the connection. When I use "netstat -a" on a
CommandPrompt, I can see that the SMTP port is opend and listening, however
using "Telnet (hostname or IP) 25" comes back with an error "Connecting to
(hostname or IP)...Could not open connection to the host, on port 25: Connect
failed"
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the SMTP features but this seems not to
resolve the problem.
What am I missing out?
Thanks,
topokin

Your firewall or otherwise blocked port.

| The problem has been resolved, it was McAfee Antivirus blocking port 25 by
default.
