How to disable ESMTP chunking/BDAT in standalone SMTP service

If you see this post else where I apologize for crossposting because it being
so technical I don't know how many people know about it.

Our SMTP service on proxy server (acting as a smarthost for exchange) has a
problem communicating with another MS SMTP server on the Internet. Upon
investigation we found that MS smtp servers will advertise the chunking
command BDAT and prefer it over DATA command whenever possible. But our Cisco
ASA5500 SMTP inspection engine won't support BDAT.

I found articles on how to turn off some of these esmtp verbs in Exchange
and SMTP but not one for chunking/BDAT in a standardaline SMTP server. Can
someone help?
