IIS6 and pdf filter

| Has anyone used the 5.1 pdf filter from Adove on
IIS6/index services successfully? I'd like to use it,
but the documentation only references IIS5....

Yep, I'm using it right now on Win2003/IIS6/Indexing Service and it works
like a charm...

| Hi Janet,
I haven't gotten the 5.1 version but the PDF IFilter 5.0 works fine
on Win2K3.
After your install it, stop Index service in Computer management and
delete catalog files(the catalog.wci hidden directory). Then restart
Index service and wait for a while to let Index rebuild the
catalog(Index will stop scan if current user is active on the
system). This is the most quick way to have the new IFilter take
effect.
