I'm running parallel search pages on NT4(IS2) and w2k (indexing services)
on the NT box, the line
'if VarType(RS("characterization")) = 8 and RS("characterization") <> ""
then'
works fine and the document top is output.

On w2k, I get a 500 error unless I remove the vartype part, and then end up
with nothing output.

Is there some change in the handling of this with Indexing Services?
