Sorry for the pedestrian question, but where do I go to get started
installing Indexing Services? The link I keep finding is for the NT option
pack, and I am installing on 2000 server. What is the actual name and
version of the product I'm looking for?

Thanks!

Tim

Index Service is installed on Windows 2000, XP, and 2003 no matter what.
If you check it in add/remove programs that just determines the service
startup status.
You can access the Index Server snapin in computer management.
